The Head Start Program at Summer Preschool Early Learning offers eligible three- and four-year-olds a no-cost, research-based early education experience that supports the whole child and family. In partnership with New St. Paul Head Start Agency, we blend school readiness teaching with health, nutrition, and family support services.
Using the HighScope Curriculum, children learn through active, hands-on experiences that build early literacy, math, social skills, and self-confidence. Daily routines include small-group learning, outdoor play, healthy meals and snacks, and quiet times to recharge. Our credentialed teachers use ongoing child assessments to track progress and adjust activities so each child continues to grow.
Families receive help with health screenings, mental health and disability services when needed, and connections to community resources. We also plan thoughtfully for kindergarten, offering transition support so children move into their next school environment feeling capable, secure, and excited to learn.
